We spent the morning watching Big Bang Theory (that show cracks me up, no matter how many times I've seen an episode), doing dishes, cleaning out the cat box, vacuuming, dusting, and general cleaning and tidying so our home welcomes us back, rather than scare us off... (might not be a bad thing really... too late though, it's already clean) :)
Our backpacks are packed and are carry-able... if that's a word... and now the clock is ticking toward our trip to the airport. Only a few hours to go.
Not much to say except we're thrilled that the day is finally here and that this adventure is finally taking off. Jeff is currently adjusting his full backpack and wandering around the house, lol I guess he's practicing? What a guy.
Can't wait to get going.
Wish us luck - by 5am tomorrow (your time) and 10am Portugal time, we'll have arrived!
